Who are we.
Started in 2013, We are insured for public liability, qualified in this work (City&Guilds mechanics) and have extensive experience spanning decades.
Our background is in commercial service & repair of power tools, petrol & mains electric, with additional specific service training. Trained in health & safety both mechanical & personal. Customer care.
Guarantee.
We offer the standard manufacturers guarantee supplied with the new parts or machinery.
Guarantee on workmanship is 12 months on quality brand name machines e.g. Honda, Hayter, Mountfield, Alko, Hyundai, Weibang, Stihl, Briggs, Echo for example.
or 3 months on supermarket, warehouse or otherwise budget sellers e.g. Aldi supermarket, Titan product, or shopping channel, this reflects the low disposable quality, normally not taken on but we do try if you want.
Machinery abuse, alteration or use outside of the manufacturers operating instructions not covered as usual.
Payment is.
48hrs after delivery BACS bank transfer.
Cash or cheque on completion, please be available or arrange handover.
Monthly invoice by arrangement only.
late payment fee is £40 after every 30 days overdue plus interest @8%, HMRC guidelines.
Debt recovery after 4 months. Unable to pay then please contact us to try and arrange options.
An inspection fee may be applied on diagnosis of failed machinery, we aim for free, but £10 on small jobs,
or £20 maximum e.g. engine disassembly, applied to each machine as necessary, contact will be made after One fee to discuss options.
Disposal.
Metal machinery can be disposed of usually free, but plastic mowers or machines are £20 disposal fee if necessary.
Machinery abandoned or unpaid for will be sold or scrapped after One year from the first invoice date.
Collection & delivery.
Free collection & delivery is on the Isle of Wight only in areas -
East to Central Wight, line is Gurnard, Porchfield to Niton.
Western areas may drop off by appointment to Newport or Shanklin.
Always call before turning up, we are very mobile avoid disappointment no drop off area.
We retain the rite to refuse transport or further work after 2 failed attempts.
